In alignment with our enduring commitment to ecological sustainability, Rise Up Forum, in collaboration with Cochin Shipyard Limited, proudly presents “Ente Kadal” (My Ocean) — a community-driven CSR initiative that combines beach cleanup and restoration activities with impactful environmental literacy programs. This project seeks to rejuvenate the natural ecosystems along Kerala’s coastline while fostering a deep sense of awareness, ownership, and collective responsibility toward ocean conservation.
In alignment with the national Swachhata Hi Seva movement and SDG 14 (Life Below Water), Rise Up Forum, with CSR support from Cochin Shipyard Limited, led two major coastal clean-up drives—on October 29, 2024, at Chellanam and Andhakaranazhi beaches in collaboration with MPEDA NETFISH, Jain University, and Haritha Karma Sena, and on November 30, 2024, at Puthuvype Beach with over 100 volunteers. These efforts combined waste removal with awareness activities such as plastic art installations and exhibitions, promoting marine conservation and coastal protection.
